This listing is in relation to the playing of movies
Positives:
++ Very good picture (Tested: avi mkv with 576p and 720p and 1080p)
++ Very good sound
++ About WLAN good quality in HD movies to see (a wall, no concrete, between the wireless router and
the Player
++ Easy wireless setup
+ Time Skips while watching a film possible (intervals: 1min, 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min, 25min, 30min)
+ Noise Suppression film can be adjusted (Bring a lot of) the player)
+ Some firmware updates until now (to take care of the unit, not like other manufacturers)
+ There are no software bugs noticed (although it should be understood)
+ The remote fits comfortably in your hand and can be operated intuitively
+ Ansehliches menu
Negatives:
- As you navigate through the menu is half the screen preview and only the other half
the navigation overview ("Explorer"), which is not only in the movies so
- Sorry, no skips between 1min 5min (a matter of opinion)
- If you streamed movies on network television and in standard HDMI Auto setting, it may be the
sometimes the tone for half a second exposed. When HDMI Auto is changed to a certain
Setting, whether 576, 720 or 1080, is the fault away (Does not everybody gets them, may
are on the network or on the PC)
- Internet TV and Internet all these features in general you could have also save constructed still very rudimentary, well you will just keep up with the competitors and who are in the specifications and Internet TV. But that's not the main task of the media player
You realize surely, the negative points are not particularly bad, I'd say.
For me persönich any case, the main shopping Situated on quality of image and sound and the successful streaming over the network.
This is where the Asus O! Play.
