I had bought this adapter to test a MacBook, the display was broken. I have so that the MacBook connected to my LCD TV - goes perfectly.

The cable is relatively stiff, but there has so far not bothered me.
For occasional playing of photos or videos from the MacBook perfectly suitable on the big screen in any case.
