Material quality:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: The Roccat mice smooth matte plastic is used. The quality seems average, nothing special, but it does not fall on a negative.
- Sharkoon Drakonia black: The plastic is similar to Roccat mice. The difference from the Roccat mouse is that the left and right sides are rubberized. At first I found it pleasant, but the ribbing is uncomfortable after prolonged play, especially if your hands are slightly sweaty and you slide over the rubber. Also settles fairly quickly from dirt between the corrugations.
- Anchor 8200dpi: The plastic is similar to Roccat mice. The difference from the Roccat mouse is that the left side is rubberized. Again, there is the problem of dirt deposits. A big problem for me figured that the plastic is apparently inferior and I had the feeling that the plastic made my hands sweat (I have rarely get sweaty hands while playing). Especially with the rubber coating on the left, which is then very inconvenient.
- Logitech G700s: The Logitech stands in this comparison out positively. The left and right sides have a rough and granular plastic surface. At first she seems to get used to, but it is not uncomfortable. One has the mouse thus firmly noticed the handle and me is that you do not get clammy hands through the material. In addition, the sculpture seems ansich quality
Product processing:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: Here I can speak from long experience. The processing affects quality at first sight and it is on the whole certainly. I have not only mice from Roccat, but also a keyboard and other equipment and am, convinced with minor exceptions, the quality. Unfortunately, I seem to have always the misfortune to catch Monday models. Twice my Mausradachse is broken and my XTD the left mouse button has begun to hang (time to gamble and a half years, I would like to mention here). The XTD but seems to have a total of eradicated all the mistakes of the previous row. Otherwise: The Roccat mice are very well made. Buttons stuck, nothing rattles. In addition, no sharp edges.
- Sharkoon Drakonia black: She seems well made. Buttons stuck, nothing rattles. In addition, no sharp edges.
- Anchor 8200dpi: Processing is mediocre. While there are no sharp edges, but the buttons wiggle unfortunately quite strong and rattle partly. This has, unfortunately, a bit cheap.
- Logitech G700s: The Logitech is extremely well made. If you take the mouse in hand, you can feel already that the mouse your money's worth in the process. She has a high weight (which is due to the battery, among others) and works by quality. The buttons fit all well into the gaps and the distances from the edge buttons are evenly. That can not be said of all the mice themselves.
Ergonomics:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: The enumerated Roccat mice are intended only for right-handers. Accordingly snugly these mice but the form on the right hand. Roccat mousetraps average of slightly larger. For very small hands so the mice could / be uncomfortable unsuitable. For medium to large hands, but they are perfectly suitable. The position of the buttons is great. The 2 thumb buttons to reach optimally with your thumb and all other buttons can be reached well. The required compressive force for the buttons is just right
- Sharkoon Drakonia Black: The Black Dragon Roost is only for right-handers. Overall, the mouse is slightly smaller than the mice from Roccat, so I would also recommend smaller hands. The thumb buttons are, as in the Roccat, easily accessible. A big problem I have, however, with the DPI switch! It is not by 2 buttons, but a small lever, which was also embedded to make matters worse in the mouse. With the index finger while it is playing hard possible to switch DPI down, but almost impossible to shift up the dpi again. Thus potential buttons (two levers directions) are wasted, so to speak. The required compressive force for the buttons are a bit too high for me personally. If you like a lot of resistance when buttons come here, however, at his own expense.
- 8200dpi anchor: The anchor 8200dpi is only for right-handers. The anchor falls of all models from significantly larger. Therefore, I would particularly recommend this mouse people that have very large hands. The buttons are easy to reach total. Especially the button above the mouse wheel I found to be very pleasant and convenient. On the left side are three thumb buttons, of which only the rear wheels have two convenient to use. The rear button is difficult to intuitively usable. The required compressive force for the buttons is just right
- Logitech G700s: The Logitech G700s is only for right-handers. What the mouse really emphasizes is the ergonomics of buttons. In total there are 4 thumb buttons, all of which (!) Are easily accessible. This is mainly because that you can not purely presses the buttons horizontally, as with other mice, but pressing with an aligned upward diagonal movement buttons. It feels more natural than the simple push in the buttons, especially since the buttons are also very smooth and thus can also be pressed in quick gameplay quickly. The required compressive force for the other buttons is just right (just the mouse wheel is a bit hard to press).
Functionality:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: The software solution from Roccat is in my opinion the best. It has been an incredible number of settings. DPI up to X / Y-axis acceleration, anything goes. The colors can be adjusted. Especially great is the fact that you can adjust by software, the laser mouse to the ground. Thus, the Roccat mice run on virtually any surface very well. The macro function is top. You can take shortcuts and then assign a button. Furthermore, you can assign mouse buttons adding other functions (both practical for gaming, as well as for office work)
- Sharkoon Drakonia black: The software solution is strongly reminiscent of the Roccat. You can adjust a lot of DPI and X / Y-axis and change the color lighting. What I do is miss that one can not set a DPI increments. So if you just is at 6000dpi and 500 would have, you have to control several DPI steps down until you arrived at 500. In other mice, you can set the number of DPI increments and also the amount of the DPI. Especially in combination with the hard to reach DPI +/- button which is very annoying. But who plays only with a DPI resolution, which can neglect this criticism. The macro function is top. You can take shortcuts and then assign a button. Furthermore, you can assign mouse buttons adding other functions (both practical for gaming, as well as for office work)
- Anchor 8200dpi: Also this software solution is strongly reminiscent Roccat. DPI and X / Y-axes options are available, and the color settings. What is the anchor points out of the Sharkoon the fact that you can adjust 4 DPI increments, but this option can also disable (for example, so that one has only 2 shades). So I had, for example, 1500dpi and 4500dpi for selection. It's also great that there is not only the DPI +/- function, but also the DPI switch function. If you press the button, the next step is automatically used DPI (with 2 options so submits button to switches here and forth). The macro function is top. You can take shortcuts and then assign a button. Furthermore, you can assign mouse buttons adding other functions (both practical for gaming, as well as for office work)
- Logitech G700s: The setting options are not as extensive as in the other 3 mice. You can assign macros, various / multiple DPI gradations and also, as in the anchor, assign a DPI switch button, which allows you to scroll the DPI increments. This functionality should be sufficient in most but.
Style:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: The designs of Roccat are top. The mice have a simple black-matt color and the designs look futuristic with the illuminated zones. One can simultaneously assign multiple colors, so you have Gradients and you can select different animations (for example, a pulsating effect).
- Sharkoon Drakonia black: The image shows the scale pattern has really liked me. In real it looks, however, unfortunately, very cheap, especially since it is the rest of the design of the mouse fits not good. But for that the mouse has a nice edgy design if one pleases. Otherwise, you can adjust the color and animation of the Sharkoon logo in the driver. The vibrant animation worked with me but unfortunately choppy something, especially when mouse was dark.
- Anchor 8200dpi: The mouse looks quite plain. It is quite large, but completely in black (glossy / matte combined). Pamper only do the illuminated zones (the anchor logo and the mouse wheel). You can adjust the color and animation of lighted zones here again.
- Logitech G700s: The design is matte black / dark gray (Glossy / Matte combination). Likes ansich pretty good. What I did not like that pseudo-cool stripes on the mouse above are plan. Just to grips to use such imprints quickly and from then a mouse works just not stylish. Nerves do me something the silver stripes on the left and right mouse button. But now I got used to it and find it quite handsomely. The mouse has no illumination (only the battery status)

Special features:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: The color lighting is versatile Adjustable than any other mice. It also has much more setting options with respect to the cursor behavior. Laser can be adapted to the surface for optimum ground detection.
- Sharkoon Drakonia black: In the delivery are additional Gleitpads included. If your so wear some point, you have spare.
- Anchor 8200dpi: 3 thumb buttons instead of 2 (as at Sharkoon / Roccat), backlit scroll wheel
- Logitech G700s: 4 thumb buttons instead of 2 (as at Sharkoon / Roccat). In addition there are 3 easily accessible index finger buttons next to the left mouse button, which I learned a great value. Worth mentioning is also the mouse wheel. The only Gamermaus, can be solved by pressing a button the mouse wheel, so that it has a free rein (no raster). This is especially useful if you read PDF files, or web pages look, where you have to scroll a lot. So is useful when using the mouse also works / studies. Unfortunately, the screen (if enabled) for not very strong, which is why while playing times accidentally 2 grid continues to rotate quickly, instead of a grid.
Price and Conclusion:
- Roccat Kone / Kone + / XTD: The Roccat Kone mouse moving more in the price range between 70-100 for release time. For this price is justified, Roccat would a little drauflegen functionality and quality. In particular, the teething problems in the first production series nervous animal and at 100 (the next Roccat Tyon which is released soon, will cost as much) could Roccat also quietly considering a wireless function (with optional cable connection if battery is empty). My recommendation: Roccat mice not directly buy the release. Once the mice are but a few months on the market, you can access safe! Therefore strong buy recommendation!
- Sharkoon Drakonia black: 30 are absolutely great! One can not expect that the best gaming mouse you can get for 30 on the market, but it only costs a fraction of other mice, bringing functionality and quality with almost the same. Only those who have the bit more needs, should resort to more expensive mice, otherwise absolute buy recommendation!
- Anchor 8200dpi: Again, the 30 well spent. You get more of functionality, design and processing, as one would expect at a 30 mouse. Again, a very strong buy recommendation!
- Logitech G700s: The 75 (currently, previously 100) in my opinion are fair for what is offered and therefore invested well. Of all the 4 mice has convinced me most the Logitech. Although I like lighting and design, but the most important are my ergonomics, functionality and build quality and here the Logitech has produced the best impression on me so far. Especially the wireless feature justifies a price of 75. Therefore, here is a strong buy recommendation.
Overall conclusion:
The Logitech stands out on top, followed by the Roccat mice. These mice are with me at No. 1 and 2, because I attach great importance to ergonomics, functionality and build quality and am willing to pay for a couple of 10 more. Who but not quite as extreme (!) Claims, like I did in terms of ergonomics, functionality and build quality, which should grab the anchor or Sharkoon. Both share the third place, which I due to the DPI Switch (important for Shooter) and the size (I have very large hands slim) would prefer to anchor me. If you have the chance, you should the Roccat and G700s with their local dealer's take in hand and think about you if it must be this quality, or whether you can accept a few (minor) smears and for good times 50 save can.
