When unpacking, I just found that the Epson is a whole corner compact than my old Canon. It's great that he does not take up so much space. The installation went quick and easy vonstatten. I have not linked him with WiFi, but via LAN as a connection is within reach.
The cassette for the paper is a little small. Must therefore be filled more often if you print a lot, but that's with me eh not the case. In addition, there is an additional compartment for special paper sizes. Something strange is that you can push too far this charge also pure and then must fumble, to get them out again. Then there's still a separate tray for printing on CDs. When printing the control panel flips up and the paper tray runs out motorized. That already makes a noble impression. Unfortunately, this is not entirely reversed automatically. The paper tray moves only back on when you press a button on the printer (it should be better after some time make by itself). The control panel does not work automatically back down. This one has a hand press down (why?).
The print itself is yet uncomplicated, fast and with a good printed image. The photos need some time (up to A4), but look very good. In my opinion, better than with my old Canon. What I find amazing is the borderless printing at A4. When printing on special Photopaier you have to insert it into a separate collection for this special paper back. Unfortunately there is only one sheet. So you have to introduce each sheet. Those who want to print a lot of photos in one go, you should look for another device.
When you copy he has indulged in a little break, but we went quite well. I have it only once, maybe go faster soon.
I also like the ink tanks that are to be used without any problems. There are also compatible ink having relatively low. Here I save compared to the Canon than half. This is but only because Epson doesn't install electronics in the tank. Canon makes it here suppliers of compatible ink difficult.
Would I buy the device again. No! ;) I've seen that there is the same device with DIN A3 size for little more money. I would buy me, because I want to print photos from time to time. And because I know now that the XP-810 is quite small. Otherwise, I am fully satisfied.
