My boys love this set. Small flat, some items are hard to identify, we have a purple sauce and a kind of sausage stuffed with chocolate, say it gives a touch of whimsy. One can also proceed by games like "made me a sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and an egg" is fun and it can be educational.
