The converter has saved me from having to buy a new amplifier - my new Samsung 48 "has unfortunately no ordinary RCA audio output more favorable the box is not so, but it does the job, however, you have the amplifier (ONKYO.. still a long way from the early untwist 1990'gern) until the volume matches; there is a risk that you suddenly produces quite a bit of ruckus when switching to another source :-)
