After I have been with the Suntour SP8 already well satisfied, I have of course decided on the purchase of my new bike for the successor to the SP --- 12 ---. I must say very clearly that I did not bereuht the decision. The SP 12 is clearly an evolution of the SP. 8 Often the successor models're just cheaper to manufacture --- we all know: From Bad to Worse. In this case, however, it is not the case. The saddle pickup was revised thought out, allowing a faster saddle change as well as a simpler saddle adjustment. Furthermore, the moving parts are now stored in brass bushings. All in all, I still maintain that the Suntour parallelogram seatpost every euro are worth! Anyone who so far is my test driven was subsequently thrilled that this seatpost unlike many conventional prop really springs and thus also impacts catches ... and not just jerky.
