A simple stable sword stand, to put it briefly. To be more precise: It is cut to size straight wood what painted black (powder estimation I), and is inserted into one another. This holds then so, do not worry. But you should note that this black coating rubs off. When the top layer is removed so little that diminishes also. The Sägeränder are perhaps a little rough, so I'd recommend, bolster the area where the sword then coming in with a cloth or the like. So scratches and soiling the scabbard are avoided. In principle, I would anyway cushions, also with any other stand. Better safe than sorry :) The processing and staining of the wood is also evenly. No thin places or prominent edges.
So to bring it again to the point: It's okay, and completely fulfilled its purpose. Also in terms of price-performance ratio.
