Compared to a similar-looking desk lamp with a built-in foot-switch, which is offered at a well-known furniture store for about 56.00, this article looks like a cheap China-plagiarism.
On the positive to note that the LED head can be rotated as a power connector without stop, thanks to the 3.5 mm jack plug mono.
Whether it is the point of it, that this connector is used to power an LED lamp to be seen again.
Basically makes the lamp their service. It lights up.
A pleasant working environment is with but definitely not possible. Tell them I would therefore not.
The "problem" with the 18 parallel shadow I can confirm, however, consider it not as disturbing. If you position the lamp at eye level, the shadow of the finger is homogeneous on the keyboard. Only when you moved your hands toward the light source, you can see the individual shade.

UPDATE:
At a distance of 50cm (ie normal desk lamp height), arrive in the workspace only 50 lux.
For comparison:
According to BGI 650 (screen and office workplaces) 500 lux in the workplace and 300 are provided in the room.
