The player who was lvl 9, had so many cards that reinforce it, while the rest total of 5 Wall Earth Monster cards had on hand, without appropriate Monster cards. In other Munchkin games, we can often win to delay a few more rounds and turn the tide.
In general, the game is just ok. We found them for the few and weak monsters much easier than the Apocalypse Munchkin series (which in our opinion is the heaviest)
