Customer Review

Addendum 04.05.2014:

In my graphics card is the OC version that ships with 1070 MHz GPU clock factory instead of 1020 MHz. But even with a reduced clock frequency will not noticeably quieter and cooler. Probably the voltages are also other, but since I do not go to it first.
That must be the reason for the volume of my card in comparison to the other reviews, they describe as a very quiet and silent-fit.

===============================================================================================================================================================================================

Have the graphics card now being tested 3 hours, and looked at by Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Furmark and the MSI Afterburner the temperature and fan behavior and fan noise belongs:

Conclusion:
From quiet under load can be no question, surely the sound perception is subjective, and it may be because that my computer is very quiet overall, because I also need a lot of work on it ... I would have in games Operating nothing against some fan noise by the graphics card, but that's already ne number which produce the fan ... clearly audible !!!
If you play with headset or PC, the boxes turned up loud like the fan noise level, some do not bother, but quietly the map is definitely not!
For comparison I have the Asus HD 7870 DCII - V2 which was inaudible even under full load, the fan fixing on 35%, temperatures of max. 70 ° C with minimal lower power to R9 270X!
The performance of the card is really great in terms of the price!

Pro:
+ Gaming performance is excellent, about 5-10% higher than my old HD 7870 DCII Asus
+ Temperature and Lauststärke the office / desktop operating very well (28 ° C, fan to 20% at 1160 1 / min, auto)
+ Temperatures under full load are good, 69-70 ° C at 100% capacity utilization at 56-57% fan speed (which is, however, much too loud !!)
Set + fan curve in Afterburner manually
-> So imagine after 20 minutes FurMark burn-in test constant 76 ° C at 48% fan speed. At max. 45% fan settles down, the temperature at about 81 ° C a, quieter but me personally too hot.

Cons:
- In Games operation after 2-3 min immediately clearly audible fan regulated to 45-50% high at max. Temperatures of 69 ° C and is so clearly to hear from my Corsair Graphite 600T. Side panels closed, very quiet case fan from BitFenix and BeQuiet, very quiet CPU cooler BeQuiet
- From 36-37% fan speed is the card to hear, they have therefore fixed times to 35% in Afterburner and launched Furmark. After 3 minutes, the card was rising at 81 ° C, tends to have aborted the test
- The processing of the card is not so hot, cover made of thin plastic, glossy, a few angeklpste Aplikationen in matt silver, all pretty wobbly and creaky. No comparison to the Asus DCII ...
- In certain fan speeds, it happens every now and then that side noises, fans do not grind, but something vibrates on the card, changing the speed makes the noise disappear, just like a gently pressing a finger against the fan cover of the card ... is definitely not Spulenfiepen or -surren.
