I did not want to perfect because perfection does not exist as they say!
So it was a real game / simulator. We can take control of birds as Nieuport Spad XIII or even Fokker and albatross ect!
You can play in "arcade" with all simplifications but also in "Pilot (?)" By setting the level of the highest difficulty. in which case will be highly respected physics (you can rip your wings during antics too "ambitious") it will be possible to screw up an engine with background gases dive or the engine may overheat if the covers are forgotten or even be lagging if oversights adjust the mix! (With some hardware, simulation is pushed to the maximum ^^)
Again in arcade mode, it is rather easy to shoot enemies more complicated but fashion is quite difficult. As then, the cuckoo could withstand bullets numbers in their fuselages before letting go. You have to bear firearms containment and other small "worries" that a pilot could worry this time.
It's great to get out a map and flight heading to view up to the goal! (Again the options to have a map as they settle in "real" not without small blue planes that tells us where have is ^^)
I have not seen any Red Baron (Manfred Von richthofen) in the air or Oswald Boelcke or René Fonck! Maybe I did not go far enough in games. (We hear still talk)
More than acceptable graphics. And wait until you fly and arrive near the front lines!
In short, a game that I highly recommend to passionate aeronautics and especially the early days of aviation like me!
