I wear this "torture equipment" for the past 3 weeks. Cast and setting up easy, but the links are somewhat difficult to clip or remove. Tough first night, pain in teeth and jaw, dry mouth on awakening, but miraculously against more headache. Second night restitution of conjugal bed, no problem since my wife says I do not snore, I wake up in better shape than before, and I do not have headaches when they were almost daily. The pain is weaker day by day, after three weeks I still have some sensitivity to very localized wake teeth, it is very intense and it goes after 5 minutes once the appliance removed. Otherwise I finally got used to having that object in the mouth, unlike other reviews I've read before buying the product, the orthosis has no taste and no peculiar smell (the time that it is cleaned every day obviously, otherwise it's sure she'll feel the rillette after a while ...) Anyway it works very well and it really minimizes my problem, both vis-à -vis other and vis-à-vis me. Finally only identified problems: 1- must be sure not to have anything to say to your other half once the unit in place, as you can in a pinch drink water, but talking is frankly impossible! 2- I sometimes unintentionally remove the splint at night (sleepwalking kind, although replaced on the bedside table ...) but the nudge my wife happens very quickly for me to recover.
So overall it's frankly effective, you really persevere used to, but the immediate results you will strongly encourage!
