Gigaset SL780 comes as a Skype phone

As an avowed fan of Siemens I use for many years both only landline phones as well as mobile phones of this manufacturer. I was forced at last by the inglorious departure of Siemens mobile phone division about Benq willy-nilly to a change, so the market still has fortunately a wide range of Gigaset phones.

Since my most-used Gigaset E450 has recently adopted unfortunately, so a new phone was once again due - my choice fell quickly on the SL780, mainly because of good eco-properties, but also whether the much-praised processing. I can understand the many already aptly raised by previous speakers to the point advantages and the (few) disadvantages of this equipment only confirm at this point, where the benefits clearly outweigh!

Since I have a important for me, so crucial aspect missing in the previous versions, I would like to briefly go into it: I or my family members a lot of calls with foreign countries and therefore greatly appreciate the favorable service of Skype. Thanks to the Siemens Gigaset M34 USB stick was previously possible, with numerous Gigaset phones to make calls on a connected PC via the Skype account, ie an ordinary DECT phone could be turned into a comfortable and above all portable Skype phone - a corresponding Skype account, PC and internet flatrate provided. As I myself could now find extensively, this is possible without restrictions with the SL780! The base station is easily recognized from the present current Vista client the M34 software and can be integrated, the call quality is more than acceptable, as well as in the previous Gigaset combinations considering the price - we are all absolutely thrilled!

Conclusion: a beautifully crafted phone with excellent feel and look, the possibility of using a Skype phone is to the icing on the cake!
