With a few chords, this time added a little electronically, it creates Marling always an intense connection to their texts to create. Mood, sound and melodies are full of ideas, are sometimes gently, sometimes thrilling but never softened or format compatible radio. Your songs are very varied on this album. One feels at times Joni Mitchell remembers times to PJ Harvey or the Go-Betweens. These her wonderful guitar playing and the great voice.
With its outstanding fifth again this time self-produced album Laura Marling has done everything right and their own bar even screwed a bit higher. 9/10.
