As usual AmazonBasics, the adapter is delivered in a simple packing box, without unnecessary plastic packaging. As the only side dish, is a small and very briefly held instructions, or information supplied.
Why do I now draw from a star in the evaluation?
The first point is that, unfortunately, in my opinion, is not a sufficient explanation of the adapter.
The top of the socket, a small glass-fuse, which may burn sometimes includes (short circuit). That this exists, is nowhere recorded and a less technically adept person would probably not get the idea of a defective fuse, if the adapter should no longer function at a time. This is one thing that should be noted in any case in the description!
(Please note: the tip can easily be unscrewed and the fuse are free but please pay attention to the metal tip - it falls out easily.!)
The second point is the operation LED.
These lights in blue color and extremely bright.
At night it is in the vehicle so bright that one could read it and therefore very disturbing, driving during car.
In order not to be disturbed or distracted, you have to either install the adapter so that it is not in the field of view (outlet in the font or the trunk) or the LED taping.
