Good album, but nothing special

I'm a fan of quieter music eg Ed Sheeran and Birdy and took the singles of Milow in the past always been very good. After me, the new single "We must be crazy" very well-liked, I decided finally to me an album by him to buy.
It may sound good, but that's it. In head to stay a few songs, the other noise so past a. Beautiful CD to relax, or to let them quietly running in the background, for more unfortunately, it is not enough.

The Songs:

Learning How to Disappear 5/5 - Beautiful entry into the album, one of the few songs that stay in your head.

Echoes in the Dark 4/5 - The song conveys a great atmosphere, but the highlight is missing in the song. As one might have rausholen more.

We must be crazy 5/5 - remains hanging immediately after first listening, great!

Mistaken 3/5 - I have not yet really been in my head, just mediocre.

Blue Skies 2/5 - This is definitely too flat, rippling just to himself.

Against the Tide 5/5 - Great song and great text, one of the favorites!

Wind me up 4/5 - A somewhat gloomy song that also I really like the text.

You're still alive in my head 2/5 - In my opinion, the worst song of the album. Very dark and quiet and unfortunately without any recognition.

The Golden Hour 4/5 - One of the faster songs, but again lacks that certain something, the song is just too short, here too would have a lot more can be brought out!

My Mother's House 5/5 - also an absolute favorite. From the text also one of the strongest songs on the album, great way to end!

Conclusion: Milow has a wonderful voice and definitely a lot of talent, but I have some songs that feel that they would once more have to be revised. As a rough cut quite good, but as a finished album Here I miss just the rough edges. A real shame!
