The knife has a good quality for the price and is an everyday knife definitely recommended as the entire Silverpoint line. The feel is not to be compared with the very high quality knives from Wüsthof or other manufacturers but for the smaller budget than adequate, especially for the amateur cook. The scalloped edge facilitates cutting vegetables etc.
