Good all-rounder VA

I had an Acer S242HLABID, a 24 "LED with TN panel. I itself was quite happy with the monitor, work, good image, everything is OK but I wanted to just enjoy time something new. Within the past 2 years, I slowly learned the differences between monitors what is going on with the prudential panels, their pros and cons, in IPS and VA, for example. Better Black, stronger contrast was there and so I then looked at me with this monitor closer. The appearance may not appeal to everyone , especially the little green thing, which, although less in the depression sitting inside, but complement the asymmetric shape of the screen and - I think - is it a fun touch :)

The first thing I thought when I tested the monitor, "Wow, what a picture". The factory setting is really good, and it's not because that brightness from the start is at 100% and therefore all "radiant" effect, even at reduced brightness during "standard" modes affect the colors vivid. Games like CS: GO, BF3 now make more fun (no ghosting / streaks, etc.). The screen has 8 modes, Photo, sRGB, games, reading, for example. The menu is clearly well designed and is controlled via "contact sensors" - no buttons except the power button.

The build quality is very solid, it fits everything perfectly and makes a high quality impression. No noise at different settings, such as reduced brightness, contrast, etc. (no buzzing noise, etc.)
