Why this?
It is one of the few power supplies with little power who have a good cable management. Since the calculator is not intended to run 24/7, it was not important to me that it's better than 80+ certified. Certainly an 80+ Gold or -Platinum certification would have been nice, but it's with about 86% still pretty neat.
The scope of supply:
- Power supply (well finished with inaudible 140mm fan, painted black, 20 + 4x motherboard and 4 + 4-fold 12V auxiliary power supply are located on the power supply)
- 2x PCIe graphics card cable 6 + 2 for Management
- 2x 3x SATA
- 1x 3-MOLEX
- 1x 2x MOLEX, 1-fold Floppy
- 1x pocket for cables
- 1x Power cord
The cables are all sufficiently long 40-50 cm, sleeved reasonable and not to be too rigid. the processing of the sockets on the power supply is neat. As it is drawn Duch cable management you need to install only the power cables that you really need. This saves a lot of cables in the housing. Therefore top. I would buy the power supply immediately again if I need a modular power supply!
Positives:
- Excellent cable management
- 400/500/600 / 700W power supplies for very good price
- Very quiet 140mm fan, (inaudible)
- Cheeping and chirping no
- Everything you need with supplied
Negatives:
- Not higher than 80+ certified, where a few years 80+ Bronze is the standard.
Overall, the negative point is not enough for a point deduction, would probably. deduct half or quarter point. But no more than that. In my opinion, clear to normal PC recommendation, the 24/7-operation should be chosen perhaps a higher certified power supply (fast 2.5x price) in order to reduce electricity costs. I am completely satisfied with the new V2 Series with better cable management than its predecessor for my purpose.
