I have promised me. Of the S-220 2.1 system that my previous Logitech X-230 replaces, because this has wandered into the living room
Since I have no huge claims, what I thought, but due to the partly effusive reviews as you can (also at half price of the X230) go nothing wrong.
Quality and workmanship are neat and go for the price more than okay. The wired remote control has it done to me downright, that is regulated with a small hub volume funny and works well. Moreover, it offers the possibility to connect a headset.
Then came the sound check, the first day I was fully convinced. But more and more I had the feeling that something is missing. So again, the X-230 connected on day 3 from the living room to the PC and performed the direct comparison.
And now it was clear in the bass and in the heights like the S-220 indeed be very good, but the mid-range frequencies are far too weak to non-existent.
For me, this system is unfortunately nothing because I have probably promised too much. However, those looking for a small and delicate system and previously might only sound heard on the laptop, monitor speaker, which can be accessed safely. Who needs to replace a larger system and maybe want to save space and money, will be disappointed sometimes.
From me, there are still 4 of 5 stars for the price good, but not a miracle.
