If I had directed the previous, mostly very negative reviews, I would probably not buy the device. Now I have a few days in use and am very happy with it. So far I have mostly iPhone 4 / iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab / Sony X8 used with Android OS and think to be able to judge the quality somewhat. The touchscreen responds very well and quickly, is capacitive and therefore need only touched (and up) to be. The wireless connection is to maybe 2-3 seconds at good quality - so quite fast (even at the bar pull up and press the button). The device can scan emails via POP3 and IMAP and also has an Exchange client - ie usually suitable to query and "business emails" via SSL connection. The establishment and the clear display of all accounts on the pre-installed app Social Hub is easy to make. Regarding the issue of "Apps", Samsung used herein a "closed (private) operating system" with JAVA Unterstürtzung. There are countless, mostly free Java (J2ME) applications that can be installed on the device (eg via getjar.com). The term "apps" came in this connection mainly with the iPhone, but actually applies equally to the available Java programs - that is no drawback that relative few programs preinstalled. One of these programs is for example first loads on the computer (.jar files) and then copies them to the phone (immersion positions -> Connection -> USB Extras -> Activate Mass Storage and then connect the USB cable). About "My Documents", you select the program and it will be installed under "Games". So everything is very simple. There are programs such as Chess, Reversi, Checkers, Sudoku, Ebook Reader, new web browser, other MP3 players, to name just a few ... Wise is definitely an extra memory card - does not cost much and relieves the somewhat scarce phone memory. The error message "Memory full" I once saw at the beginning and I think it has nothing to do with the "somewhat scarce phone memory" of about 30 MB, but rather with the fact that the system memory in which the programs are executed fully (that is not the memory for storing programs). I have yet to "Settings -> Default storage -> memory" all kinds switched to "SD card" so that the "30 MB relieved". More importantly, I think, to remove the really mostly unnecessary "Widgets" and keep not "running" for the safe use of the system memory. So I only have "a background page" and an active widget - any remaining can be clearly and individually decorated in the main menu (new screens by tilting the screen and pressing the "+" sign). The error message is "Memory Full" I no longer met, even if I simultaneously use and various Java applications program many "behind the scenes Parke" (minimize) and use the phone for several days. From time to time however, you should ensure (hold center button for 2 seconds and click on the "minus" top right ") via the" Task Manager "one way or another, no longer actively used, close the application - which is also relieved. These "little things" is from the supposedly "bad phone" a good, very reasonably priced "smartphone", I think. I know that my text might be right "technically" sounds, but perhaps helps's one or the other ;-). Otherwise, the unit is pretty small, easily and looks good. The battery lasts forever, the display is bright and clear, the operation is fluid and fun! The built-in radio sounds good, the MP3 player also, both running in the background. What for me is still important, the MP3 player remembers even after turning off the phone and plays the last track after switching on then directly (just for audiobooks well). There is also no delay in the start of the player or when calling the Datai- Explorer after switching (many mobile phones are often again searches all folders and / or playlists updated). In contrast to the predecessor model (S5230), the device has standard connectors, eg 3.5 jack for any earphone and micro USB features to load the device - I find quite important. Youtube Vidoes can be without problems play (here have already read to the contrary), the video player works within its means, Twitter is installed, a Facebook client also, the camera shoots in daylight quite ordinary photos ... What more could you ask for 100 EUR?
