I am a graphic designer and I have bought myself the Canon PIXMA iX6550 for my home office. Before buying I have this printer with Canon's flagship, the Mark 2 are compared. The specifications of both devices coincide to a large extent. The Canon PIXMA iX6550 is ideal for graphic design area. On the matching paper it prints graphics, illustrations and texts in very high quality.
The Mark 2 is as already mentioned very similar. However, this printer is meant to be used for professional photo area. The Mark 2 has also significantly more than the Canon PIXMA iX6550 cartridges and is around 300 euros more expensive!

Short and sweet:
- Perfect for the Graphic Design Home Office
- Brilliant color quality
- Sharp edges in graphics and illustrations
- Text printing is good (laser printers are the Text pressure naturally more)
