We had selected for our first child a Angelcare AC 420 as a baby monitor as this indeed has a good reputation. However, we were disabused, interference, noise, etc. were commonplace soon. The Angelcare AC 420 was also 2x by the manufacturer but exchanged no avail. Now we are expecting a second child and we chose the Philips SCD 530 as the second baby monitor. We have the baby monitors now since about 4 weeks in the test and are fully satisfied with it. The transmission is completely fault free (without noise or similar) the volume is more than adequate. It can be all of the functions of the parent of operation and the battery of the parent unit holds almost 15 hours in the guidance they give though 24 hours of battery life on but that's worth a theoretical well. The only thing I have to complain about, unfortunately, is the night light, it's just too dark, no comparison with the Angelcare AC420 has a bright blue light. As would prefer Philips which built where you can adjust the brightness according to his own wish and not just on / off, and still too dark. But if you disregard the baby monitor a really super part -> Recommended !!!
