With the SX450 I wanted to replace our old ISDN base station, since the old Siemens handsets so slowly revealed some quirks (loose contacts at only geklemmmten speakers and while charging). I accessed if the good design when SX450. Unfortunately, when you first configure noticed right away that the voice quality is less than optimal. One even hears a noise, the opposite hears the voice "slightly distorted", "tinny" or "far away" (original comments). Mmmm, it's appalling that at Siemens, voice quality obviously not better but worse is (old compared to more than 10 years handsets !!). The old handsets (2000C) sound to the new base station as ever, but no longer the MSN is there received with calls. But the phone book transfer work between the generations, so I did not expect. The new handset has at the top of a rounded edge in any way, so that these partly pressed into the skin. After careful consideration, I have the package for lack of alternatives but not be returned and to expire 14 days. The SX440 is, incidentally, have the same problems in voice quality.
