I bought 6x1 liter organic Ehtanol for my table fireplace, which is situated right in my room.
The six bottles arrived well packed in a specially tailored for bottles box at my home to.
Each bottle comes with a child resistant closure which is however easy to deal with as an adult)
My fireplace has a relatively small combustion chamber opening, while pouring therefore the one or other droplets is always next time. This holds, however limited and can be eliminated quickly with a cloth.
When igniting the organic Ehtanols it comes with me sometimes that it directly back goes out, the second time it burns then but properly. The flame takes about 5-10 minutes, until it has reached its full firing temperature and a beautiful flame pattern has developed. (In the beginning it is only bluish)
If you (in my 1/2 liter) burns a full load, the heating of the chimney is already quite good. My 20m² large room is then anyway noticeably warmer :) For prolonged firing of the chimney should be parallel open the window or the door, so getting enough oxygen in the room.
The smell during the burning process is relatively low. If you come from outside into the room, you realize though that it smells different, but this is no longer a fall in a very short time.
Anders behaves when the fireplace is just assumed. Then still a fairly strong Ethanolausdünstung developed, so I fully open the window for a short time. Unfortunately I have no comparison to other bio-ethanol and therefore do not know if this is "normal". Disturbing but it is already.
The firing time is at a filling with 1/2 liters of about 3-4 hours. The flame of my chimney is quite large (wide).
I forgive "only" 4 stars because the fumes bother me after going out of the flame a bit.
CONCLUSION: Those looking for good bio-ethanol that when burned developed little odor, produces a beautiful flame picture and a pleasant heat development has, should strike. Concerns should, however, that there is something exhales after flameout.
