Am fully satisfied with the speed camera. I made at a Christmas party in a hall in the dark images with the flash (EOS 50D). The illumination was surprising. Problems occurred from about 20 meters. The pictures that I have seen from a newspaper photo graphs of a professional flash (mecablitz 76 MZ-5) were working, not necessarily stunningly better. They were better, only had to handle with stand and stool not exactly presentable. Sure, a bit too expensive for the beginner, do not be.
