The adeVital sphygmomanometer BPM 1401 complies fully with the tasks it has to fulfill a sphygmomanometer. I took the device with my family doctor and have it checked. The device is working properly. Also, the processing of the device can not be desired. The cuff can create other good without any problems and help. What I would have expected at the price All thing, would be a case for storage. Now I come to the App. The app can be downloaded and handled without problems. My ipod 5 has immediately connected to the sphygmomanometer and transfer the values. However, I find it very unfortunate that the app for my iPad 2 is not available. The app is designed in a clear and lists all the values of the day. When you open the app, you see the following three areas. 1. Weight (in this case records the adeVital balance the weight on), the second blood pressure, and the third type (in conjunction with the adeVital activity meter). If you open the point 2. blood pressure you can see the values of the last measurement and a diagram of the development of blood pressure over the last days or weeks. One can also display the values of the whole day, or the values of morning, noon or evening. The values are also shown in color in semicircle chart, the better the value of all the proceeds of the arrow in the light blue area. The higher the blood pressure even more goes on the arrow in the red zone. The good thing about the app is primarily the financial statement and that the data is recorded directly through Bluetooth and so you will not forget to transfer the values in a booklet. As a point of criticism I have the high price cite as a cheaper device blood pressure just can measure good, All thing I have of adeVital the scale and in conjunction with the blood pressure monitor, I can record everything quickly and cleanly and had the data on my next visit to the doctor in order to show in my ipod while the doctor. Conclusion: good blood pressure monitor but it is quite a bit too expensive.
