Presentation / Packing:
The headset comes in a box all there is more classic. Inside we find, of course, the helmet, but also a storage cover, quilted velvet, which seems pretty good although a little large. An additional cable (no remote control) is provided.
Wearing comfort:
The relatively green helmet ears, however, the pads are comfortable, fit well in the ears, allowing me to enjoy long listening sessions without pain. All however depends on the sensitivity.
Construction / Material Quality:
The helmet exudes quality and strength. Except (s) cable (s). These interchangeable, are extremely thin. The jack is for its ridiculously small and appears extremely fragile. Being cautious will not be a luxury. Concerning the remote control, it only works with Apple devices.
Sound:
I'm not an expert, but compared to my old helmet (akg k450), the sound has a much better definition seems more asphalt, richer. The bass are fairly marked, however, the rest of the spectrum is not veiled, although a little behind. So go through an equalizer to enhance the mids a bit of rock is sometimes salutary. In general, the sound delivered by the on-ear Sennheiser is warm and dynamic. It's simple: I have trouble listening to music on my old helmet without feeling a very big drop in quality!
Insulation:
Described as nomadic, this helmet is actually not really. The passive isolation is very bad (unless to the high-level volume ...), moreover, the sound leak (or "escape") not bad, making your subway neighbors (or others) against their accomplices According to your listening sessions ...
Balance price / quality ratio: I bought this helmet 89 euros. At this price, purchase worth the shot. The build quality, and the good sound from the headphones is excellent. I just regret that a better cable is not provided and that the insulation is so bad. 4/5
