In principle, the part is reliable and stable to carry my Canon EOS 7D Mark II together with large lenses. But poorly or not well resolved is the fact, if you often have a tripod in use. Namely, since the small 1/4 "screw must be always screwed into the bottom plate of the camera or detached from there. This is really annoying and perhaps even permanently damaging the thread in the camera.
Since I use completely Manfrotto equipment (tripods, ball heads, removable disks 200PL), I came through the recommendation from the DSLR forum on the Manfrotto 323>; redirect = true & ref_ = oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
Now I screw the Manfrotto release plate fixed to the camera, so that the AC drive is used now for any form of attachment. And the screw of the Sun-Sniper is now screwed into the Manfrotto 323 and stays in there. Although the whole thing makes things a little harder, but now it is as it should do from home Sun-Sniper. Therefore, there's a point deduction.
