Undeniably, this camera is technically largely mature. For further details is here already much has been said and contributes to the pros and cons in their purchasing decision when. I want to go here at some facts that were not yet mentioned: 1. A peculiarity in SLR is the inefficient use of the viewfinder and display. What bothers me is doing the necessary operation of the mirror. Folding up or not? Use the viewfinder or look at the display's? This one has also to deal with differently designed menus and a spontaneous impressions are possible only if you have already thought about in advance how you want the design to target. 2. The lens cover (lid) is a separate, standard accessories. At this part simply has a connection to the camera (tape, rope). Nikon holds the terrible necessary. On holiday safely pass no more than 2 days and the lens cover is where you have been times. 3. With the holiday pictures I always make a "slide show" and then look it to me on the TV screen in 16: 9 on. Therefore, I have searched the camera's menu in all directions where this format is set. Unfortunately, I have found only the possibility of "pruning". It must the original image in 4: 3 ratio, manually set to 16: 9 "circumcised". Each individually and the original remains stored and must optionally also be deleted. Should I now look at my pictures on the TV screen with a black border on the right and left? After consultation with the Nikon service was confirmed to me: A general setting of the recording format 16: 9 is not possible. That was then, however, for me reason enough to send the camera back.
