I already bought the same Fitbit Zip Coach (about 50 euros) a year ago but the very short USB to plug into a USB port on my PC is very fragile and it broke. This time I bought over a rather short USB extension cable to this little USB stick is "protected" by the flexibility of the cable at which it will be located. Every night (for example), I place the Fitbit Zip close to this mini USB (my computer turned on and the program is installed) and data from the Fitbit Zip (that I always keep in the small right front pocket of my blue jeans) are transferred to my computer. I can well see graphically or in figures the actual number of steps taken in the day, the week or year. This is a strong encouragement to walk more when I see that there is some time that I am no longer as much exercise and my weight (checked several times a week on a classic balance) takes an upward curve. This device and its software have other functions (calorie counting, etc.) I believe in a little less! You can print once a month on an A4 page the table will then allow you to monitor your weight: [...] Good luck to you all! JDGH, 12/17/2014
