The camera takes good pictures, has a lot of functions and settings. The zoom is sufficient good wide-angle, telephoto enough (too much may be used only with tripod). Absolute weak point is the battery. Had previously a Sony DSC-W50. Since the battery lasted for days while on holiday in continuous use. With the new camera he is weakening after a few pictures. I bought an inexpensive replacement on Ebay - holds at least as long as dasOriginal.
