The good news first: For every title is original versions - which is very beneficial, because well-known songs many times, to make them more danceable, disfigured beyond recognition or be interpreted by singers who are the original justice in any way. This happens here not - the songs are untreated and sound throughout the sound quality was very good. The song selection is quite varied, so that the CDs also like to be heard just so in the car.
Sometimes, however, the question has provided me (as tournament athletes and coaches) who had the idea to associate the songs to dance, which is indicated on the cover. This is at times very brave or sometimes barely comprehensible (in a song, I think it is definitely wrong - bad-edit?). However, as I personally have a passion for "crossover" or musical interpretation, I can live well with it, because the only applies to some of the many (!) Title. For the lesson, however, especially with beginners, the songs are thus only partially suitable. Generally, Latin Dancing has given priority here, so for example is just a Waltz - because the mix could be a bit more balanced.
Regarding the expectations: Unfortunately not all the songs that are used in the TV season, contain what I personally pity because there really good pieces were there that you would like to once danced itself.
CONCLUSION:
In the advanced lessons and a dance party a welcome change, the safe on the surface enthusiasm generated ("Hooray for us" ...) - but from the perspective of the coach can not be used indiscriminately, because the dance for beginners safe sometimes but rather difficult to recognize or not unique (enough) is.
