I have connected the monitor in my car was not a problem the plus cable to attach to the radio (my JVC radio has an exactly matching 12V output) and the negative cable stop somewhere on the ground. Use it eg as a bigger screen for my mobile navigation system or as a monitor for a media player. Despite the low resolution, everything can be easily read. With the remote control, the picture can be adjusted, if the monitor is installed upside down or the image to be mirrored for reversing camera. Automatic On function for the rear view camera, I can not test, because I have not installed. With the stand I have glued the monitor without the frame on a shelf space in the center console, now holds very tightly without additional fixing. The cable also can be stored very well because it is very compact. The built-in speaker (mono) for rich Navi announcements from good, but do not have good sound. Definitely a small eye-catcher at a reasonable price, reliable and seem to be well finished.
Addendum of 20/06/2012: After I had to say goodbye to my old car, I have now incorporated it into my new used. The stand had become too ugly to me and the adhesive force was no longer available. I bought a cheap camera holder with suction cup for the car (with 1/4 inch thread, as well as the original stand) and the matching mother in a flat version. This was still a bit too thick, lies, however, lay with unscrewing the guide rail by this. Am so very happy and still with the monitor, I continue to give my full recommendation! :)
