A priori, a good hard drive, silent and low energy consumption, but I do not have any hindsight to judge its reliability. The results obtained with HD Tune on an old PC (VGN FW21E, early 2009), internal drive, give: Transfer Rate Minimum: 51.9 MB / sec Maximum Transfer Rate: 128.7 MB / sec Transfer Rate Average: 100.3 MB / sec Access Time: 16.2 ms Burst Rate: 115.5 MB / sec CPU Usage: 10.9% So a good flow but rather average access time. It seems that this old PC is not able to take full advantage of the intrinsic capacity of the disc. Attention is an AF drive (Advanced Format, that is to say physical sector of 4096 bytes instead of 512 bytes of old records). If you have not done well (e) computer and if you want to replace an internal drive in an old PC WITH VISTA without changing the OS, I tend to advise against buying an AF drive. Restoring Vista with your recovery DVD accompanied the transition to the AF size (supported only basis from Windows 7) is possible but it is a long and technical operation. Also, if your old drive crashed, it may require you to temporarily borrow a non-AF drive. However, if you use a newer OS than Vista, or if you are comfortable computer, be aware that AF drives have a much better price / performance ratio and are easier to find than non-AF discs ( flow of the old stock, only ...).
