After a few days I can try to say for my copy:
+ Looks good and high quality, fits comfortably in your hand
+ The visual quality is quite ok for observations in the day, although sometimes fringing occur.
+ Setting for spectacle wearers / normal vision with a locking swivel the eyepiece is solved prima
+ Ordinary case - but without strap for hanging, can probably attach only to the belt
- At night you can forget the monocular. Despite 42 mm lens diameter, it does not even come close to my Trucker with 50 mm. One can see simply nothing (or at least I do not :-)).
- Turn up dirt inside, you see every now and then Dirt particles at different points of the visual field
- The compass hangs from time to time. Rather frustrating - he usually displays in approximately +/- 5 ° correctly, then it hangs and is significantly (> 90 °) beside it.
The shortcomings I can live itself, except for the improperly functioning compass. Therefore, the Monocular go back, I'll try to leave me send a replacement unit.
Update: After some back and forth (simple exchange did not, I had to offer a later use) I now have a new tool that I will keep. The product properties are as in my ersen copy. The only difference: the compass depends very little, trailing error as +/- 2 degrees. Really great is not still, but at the low price (and quite small compass ...) sufficiently. NB: illuminated compass is not, but I knew that before.
