The Akitio works reliably for about 3 months on my 2011 iMac. Both eSATA, USB and Firewire 3 function

What you should know ... but Boot Camp is not fully supported. I have a 2nd screen via Thunderbolt on the iMac. When climbing with Win 8.1, only a white cursor is blinking on a black background.

I still give full 5 stars because of the Akitio homepage is explicitly pointed out the limitations with Boot Camp.
