This drive is complete and is doing its job. It is not too noisy and is quite fast. The downside for me is that the avchd format of .mts files with the extension is not supported by DLNA. This means that the files taken with my Sony camcorder and stored on a PC can be read via the network by the Blue Ray player SONY while this specific format is owned by SONY (and PANASONIC). In 2012 I still can not understand why all these technologies available to us are not necessarily compatible between them.
