good fit, decent quality

The chaps were well received packed. After unpacking they smelled neutral, so no unpleasant plastic smell.
Choosing whether S or M or L was quite easy, because there is a level-table by which everyone can find by measuring the circumference of the calf itself in what size the chaps must be ordered.
We opted for this model of Waldhausen because befreundetete Pferdewirte order almost all their products by the company and have so far had a positive experience.
The chaps sit on a normal jeans tight at the calf, but without pinching the leg. Above and below, there are possibilities of adjustment (narrow or wide).
We have deliberately opted for plastic chaps because leather cools quickly in cold weather, and transfers the cold to the shin. This is a bit warmer with plastic.
I can say nothing about the long-term use. So far, about 10 missions, at least nothing has yet worn, everything sits well on the leg, and the calves are really protected.
Conclusion: I find the parts recommended

Addendum: by now a year I am still very satisfied with the purchase.
