There are provided three different inserts for different damping and a spare earplugs. In addition, the set includes a handy (albeit from simple plastic existing) small transport box in the plugs can be transported safely. Damping is for my purposes, even with the smallest use perfectly adequate (the other inserts attenuate mainly the lower frequencies more). They sit well in your ears and do not hurt after a 2-3 hour sample.
It has been shown by the way in retrospect that our guitar player uses the same hearing protection. I highly recommend this product!
