I have misused the product and cut the chip with a cutter from the adapter down. Then I saw him with some superglue on a Walimex Pro 35mm 1: 1.4 Lens for Canon EF glued lens mount, as this manual lens does not send information to the camera. Does it work? Yes and no! The camera now confirmed namely that the lens is in focus, but unfortunately not true of the focus point. This means that although the AF point flashes, the object is not 100% sharp, but it is very close. This can be seen also in the viewfinder. So the chip for this application is only conditionally suitable. There are other AF Confirm chips that can be programmed so that you can correct this fehlfokus occurring here. Unfortunately, the present article does not offer this possibility here. I mention all this because the same course can adapter and T2 lens also happen with the T2. When the focus is not sitting on the lens, you have bad luck. That's a pity, but was to be expected for the low price. There are of course no penalty, since nowhere is that one can reprogram the chip. Unfortunately, nowhere is that the chip can not be programmed.
Conclusion: good adapter with good mechanical quality. AF Confirm Chip is not ideal, since you can not program it.
Another note: I advise them to remove the chip from the adapter and to stick him somewhere else!
