The Surplus pants surprised me despite the price positively. Although for me the XL a little too big and in another embodiment (the 3 zippers on leg) the L was way too small, but with a belt, I can take care of it. To me it is always better if a little air is there.
The pants are a little thin, which is absolutely perfect in the summer. In winter, one would have to probably carry at least one long underwear underneath.
What I absolutely super like the rubber on the long leg. With that you can make the pants over boots completely sealed so that ticks and other animals have a harder time. The material of the trousers ensures that such contemporaries not remain so heavily dependent on it.
Before I had these pants, I was mainly with jeans and shoes trekking in the forest, even though I had already taken three ticks.
The Surplus I was now more common in our woods road, the home to many ticks. Thanks to the well enclosed trouser leg and the material I had since then no more bites on the legs.
For me, the Surplus is a top Treckinghose with perfect price-performance ratio. Therefore, I have already ordered them further.
