I just wanted to be entertained and get no detail Bible class and I was. Even more than that. The film is thought-provoking. About his own conduct environmental / earth over and what's all man. Hatred, greed, death, but also love, mercy and hope. I am even amazed at how well the many facets of people were represented. From the loving harmony Noah's family to the barbarism of the king and his people.
Questions I ask myself after watching the film:
What action is right or wrong? What the true interpretation and what wrong the? Especially this point has left me with impression.
For example, Noah was convinced most of the time fixed by his task. For him there was only one way to a view. Until Ila at the end of the film it is a new view, a different way, pointed out. Which interpretation is correct now? Noah or Ila? Both knew the starting point and yet they saw different ways. What did the Creator really?
Or Noah was initially the best man on earth. But gradually seized from his task, he became the "evil" or Cain was nourished with his behavior. He was hard, cold and brought to his fellows. He even wanted to go so far as to kill his granddaughters. In faith to do everything right. He only wanted the best, but it was that? Kill his own family in the name of God?
I'm torn in answering this question. If you look at the bad of mankind definitely wipe out! But there are also the good side of humanity, as illustrated in the movie at the end.
Which faith is the right one, which the wrong? Should one stubborn 'do his thing' or 'go astray' to reflect his attitude and adapt if necessary? I mean God's words are often ambiguous and constantly open to interpretation. Is there a truth or is that more?
Now I have written but a bit more to it than I initially thought. Let the comparisons with the Bible story and thinking about the questions which were published in two works (ent) are!
Short back to the beginning:
The actors have convinced the story was entertaining and the images / effects well. Everything under the condition that you get involved in this film, and comparisons can be with the Bible.
Why only four stars, despite the resulting philosophical questions? I was not quite on the same wavelength as the movie. I can not really explain, it's a feeling. The film is good, the importance of posing questions, but he has packed properly not me.
