Graphics:
This will probably be the biggest bone of contention in this game. On the PS3, it would have definitely given nothing to complain about at this level at the PS 4, however, is expected a little more and I agree also. Whenever we leave the resolution of 900p aside (I'm not as "resolution in Love", therefore of secondary importance to me), the game actually looks chic, but when I compare it with GTA V for PS 3, so I definitely have some make compromises. Lighting effects and things like explosions, clouds of smoke and nocturnal thunderstorms look really well and make quite a bit ago. What I did not like so much, for example, the water view. This has given me much better like in GTA. By day Chicago acts partly a bit bland. The cars make when it comes to GTA representation and also produces more variety. I also think that more would have been possible in the Charakterdetailierung, especially with regard to facial expressions. For a PS 3 game at this level, I would have awarded five stars for the graphics, but since we are now at the next console generation and we can expect more and here and in the future should also be guaranteed even better get I forgive for the graphics:
3 of 5 stars.
Sound:
In my opinion, makes WD in terms of sound and music rather a pretty solid impression. What I personally like the good German Syncro (many familiar voices) and the music selection is also ok and versatile. What I do not like the engine sounds. Moreover, I find, for example, the storm set a bit too unspectacular in scene, but that's secondary. Shootings and explosions come in DTS with my devil conditioning pretty good effect.
4 of 5 stars
Story:
About the story, I will not say much because I do not want spoilers. I personally like this quite well and I have caught me again and again here, as I have left are side quests left because I wanted to know what happens next. Because I still see with regard to the character representation / development and the emotional depth but room for improvement, I give here
4 of 5 stars
Gameplay:
Now the really extensive topic in this game, because there are really a lot to do. But once zurerst the negative things: There are two things that I find just plain bad. The first is the very sluggish control while driving, which makes a controlled drift on bends almost impossible and physics when driving other cars. I feel transported back to my childhood, when I go head-on into another car, because the bumper cars at the time the other vehicle is as bounced like WD.
Here more definitely would have been possible !!
What I really like is the variety of side quests. You can hack bank accounts, Poker / Shell games / chess among others play, hack into houses and and and ... I want to now list here not everything, but in the very lively framed Chicago there off the massive story to discover and a lot to do , Boredom is not on here so fast.
The online part is a lot of fun. Especially the "Hide and Seek", if you chop someone else or even chopped suddenly. The other online parts I have not really tested, but I think that one which also has fun.
Overall, I forgive for the gameplay
4From 5 stars
Conclusion:
Overall, WD does for me personally a very solid and good impression. If you let the shortcomings which physics, driveability, and sluggish control ignored when in graphics technology and a blind eye and to the "true" next-gen title can wait, we have a lot of fun with WD. One should simply engage in the many opportunities in the game, and the good story and let the game seem to be.
The review reflects my personal opinion, I have tried to be thorough and useful document. As always, I welcome constructive criticism.
