5 stars for the broom and the good idea with the universal bracket!
Update 5 april 2013:
In normal use on smooth paving slabs of concrete without any gross contamination tears today one of the two screws from the wood that hold the ingenious se socket design: a measly and far too short Knippingschraube! It may be a material error in the woods, but a so exposed mounting belongs properly implemented. For example, with a continuous strong screw thread, which is secured on the other side of the broom with a nut. Because of this broom with metal bristles is designed for rough dirt! A new screw. thicker and stronger solves the problem, the broom is more functional. Nevertheless, something must after such a short Zet in a device that is intended for heavy use, not going to happen and not everyone is equipped to such repairs.
Deduction of two stars, because here, the manufacturer of indifference or deliberately for reasons of cost (!) Poor quality in the game!
Update August 2013:
The bracket included thumbscrew is made of a tough, very durable plastic. That's ok, but not permanent. Grade with a street broom maybe even hanging on an outside wall for quick access, lacks the plastic used well the light or UV - resistance. After one year of the holder crumbles apart in the thumbscrew, small pieces break for no apparent reason out of the socket. Sweeping is cautious yet possible, but confidence in the idea and the implementation is shaken: devaluation to 1 star!
Update March 5, 2014:
It is what was to come, the plastic holder breaks during normal use of the broom on sidewalk plates completely apart, the brush is no longer usable! Devaluation to minus 5 stars for brooms and manufacturer! Unfortunately that is not provided at Amazon ...
Resume: A holder as above, but would reasonably be screwed from galvanized sheet secure the product in his idea all the stars. But if the manufacturer produces consciously a disposable article, because the broom is to use without the inclusion of the stem for nothing, a hole or a thread as a substitute for a stem in the traditional sense, it does not own. This is particularly unfortunate because the bristles do not have a quality like the first day of using ...
