Good idea, nicely implemented, meaningful coating if necessary

- Quality is perfect
- Plating is high-quality
- Plating closes behind with a ALPA adjustable elastic band, so you can see the hole on the back close or leave further
- Depending on the color of the coating is slightly transparent so that the SONOS character is still recognizable.

Whether the coating is now prettier than the product itself, everyone must decide for themselves. I consider the Sonos boxes basically for aesthetic technical devices that you do not necessarily have to hide. However, there are two areas of application for me

1) in the kitchen: I protect my Play: 3 in the kitchen with the washable coating against dust (on top of the kitchen cupboard) and fat. For the coating is ideally suited because I despite hood and regular brushing could not prevent both

2) my girlfriend does not like black music boxes in the living room. Almost all of my Sonos boxes are white, but I also have a black backing:. 5 Our living room is bright overall and in fact my new look like better than the black before. So purely for aesthetic reasons, the coatings are highly recommended.

At first I was not particularly taken with the idea to package the SONOS. But the longer I thought about it, the more sense seemed to me the possibility to pack around a pretty envelope. In particular, in the kitchen, it makes perfect sense, but also to better adapt to the SONOS to the device.
