Now for the Toshiba: I was and am always impressed with what rausholt the player from my DVDs. The picture quality via HDMI is noticeably better than in my old player via Scart. Really awesome!
But now to the criticisms:
1. The hangers are actually there. With me they keep fortunately limited. With many DVDs there are no hangers in the other mostly one. Rarely occurred sometimes 2-3 per movie trailer. They last for about 5 seconds.
2. If you want to operate the player via Scart, also can better steer clear of it because the Scart socket was "wrong" fitted around, which means that the angled edge of the connector on the side of the player protrudes. In a narrow shelf in the left and right still 2 cm are free, a scart cable can not connect so.
3. The front drawer is illuminated in blue. May look stylish, but that's about it. It sucks! Well, that you can turn off the stupid light in "parents" menu. Bad that you can not save this setting and must do after every power again.
4. When 1080i upscaling come with me from time to time interlace strips in the lower quarter of the picture, which remain visible for a few seconds. I do not know why that is, perhaps 15m cable? My guests fell the date but only on after I have made them aware of it.
In 720P these strips do not come well, but I find the 1080i image subjectively an eating better. I can not tell you why that is but.
Despite the stupid mistakes I am quite satisfied with the players, because the image quality at this price is really unbeatable.
Who wants these qualities and for the above problems do not want to accept, can look around in the price range from 300 euros.
