She is excellent in the hand and the plastic feels valuable and durable, the lens is processed with value and comes with matching sun visor, which is not a foregone conclusion. The viewfinder and the display provide a clear, bright and responsive joyous image. The display can show up and rotate photos of children in portrait orientation can thus make perfect example.
The operation is a blast, so can show the display, then you look through the viewfinder, the screen automatically shuts off and can be used as a touch pad for focus and exposure points and all other settings. All function keys are freely configurable. Despite the wide range of functions, the operation is very intuitive.
The image quality in spite of "superzoom" very good, you need to take when traveling virtually no other lens. Smuggling and annoying changing lenses remain a finally saves on hikes or city stroll. The imaging performance in low light conditions is very good. Never again a heavy and cumbersome DSLR + additional lens haul.
The autofocus works very quickly and with absolute precision, faster and better than with my old SLR. It has a viewfinder and Fokuspeeking, which means that you can very easily and very accurately adjust the focus for manual setting.
To underline the video function is taken up to Full HD with true 50 frames and a high data rate, thus the images look very plastic, sharp and have no artifacts. By touching the screen you can change the focus point during the recording, the transition makes automatic. In video mode, you can get a lossless teleconverter switch (!) To then virtually from the 14-140mm lens, a 14-364mm for the same light intensity! I've never had another camera in hand that this device exceeds here in terms of video quality. Some shots I've done so would be quite suitable for television broadcasting.
Conclusion: I use this camera to take pictures of the family and children, on vacation, etc. and am absolutely thrilled. Light and handy, a very good image quality with very extensive features and functions, the properties in low light are very good. The video capabilities to replace a full-fledged video camera, because you can not really go even better, despite what one HD recording function can not be said of many other "cameras" that I had in my hand.
An absolute buy recommendation from me, Panasonic has done everything right here, this camera is more than worth their money.
