A driver CD is not in, but I do not find particularly tragic, I invite basically always the newest (s) Software / driver from the website. For people who want to connect the thing without Internet is a problem (would clearly without Internet makes a webcam does not make much sense to harm, a CD but not enough space and would have been in a box yet ;-)
Windows 8.1 (64bit) has the Cam immediately identified after being connected and the drivers are automatically downloaded and installed. So it must be!
Also at the image quality can not be faulted, which is really good and the autofocus performs reliably serving. It is also possible to disable the auto-focus and adjust fixed via software a particular focus via sliders.
From the sound quality, however, I'm less than enthusiastic. Whether with Logitech software or just the driver, with enabled or disabled "RightSound", the sound is dull and language just does not sound right clear and natural.
Actually, the Cam should replace my old Logitech C510, but their microphone sounds much better (and there is only one micro-installed).
I've been using Skype for now so the image of the C920 and the tone of the C510 - that I had imagined differently, especially in the price range of the C920 ...
In the Amazon Lightning Deals (Jan. 2015) I was able to get the C920 for 59 and I keep them even if I would have paid 70 or 80, they would probably wg. the sound quality declined.
